About Lisa

Lisa Beyer she/her

From the first moment I experienced kinesiology, I knew I wanted to study it. The transformation in my physical, mental, and emotional health was profound. At the time, I was exhausted from a difficult pregnancy and caring around the clock for a family member with high medical support needs. In 2011, I finally had the opportunity to study kinesiology, and I haven’t looked back since.

I hold a Diploma in Kinesiology from the International College of Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP) and have been practising for over a decade. In subsequent years, I have studied numerous styles of kinesiology and holistic modalities, including Australian Bushflower Essences, Subtle Body, Five Element Theory, Kinergetics, Touch for Health, Neural Organisation Therapy, and Energetic Boundaries. This diverse training allows me to offer a comprehensive and integrative approach to client care.

My approach to client care is compassionate and highly sensitive to each individual’s needs. I believe in being welcoming to all, maintaining authenticity, and providing person-centred care.

My clients often tell me that I am empathetic and genuinely care about their wellbeing. I see people thrive with positive results. Clients of all ages come to me with various emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical challenges. They come from diverse backgrounds and complex situations. Each person is considered and supported in a way that best suits them.

My Specialty Areas

  • Emotional Health: Using techniques like EFT tapping, brain gym, and emotional stress release to help you maintain a positive mindset. I also incorporate mindfulness practices and relaxation techniques to support emotional well-being.
  • Positive Diversity: Supporting the LGBTIQA+ community along with Autistic and ADHDers, other disabled individuals and their families, with practical guidance. My experience includes working with clients on developing life skills, enhancing communication, and fostering independence. I am committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
  • Life Changes: Assisting you through life’s transitions with empathy and support. Whether you’re navigating career changes, personal growth, or significant life events, I provide tailored support to help you manage these shifts effectively.
  • Holistic Wellness: Integrating various holistic modalities such as Australian Bushflower Essences, Subtle Body techniques, and Five Element Theory to promote overall wellness. This approach helps address physical, emotional, and energetic imbalances.
  • Trauma-Informed Care: Providing support that is sensitive to the needs of individuals who have experienced trauma. My training in trauma-informed care ensures a safe and supportive environment for healing and recovery.
  • Peer Support and Mentoring: Offering peer support and mentoring for allied health practitioners and business owners. I help professionals develop their skills, build their practices, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

I am committed to continuous professional development, completing short courses each month on topics such as domestic and family violence, effective communication, creating physical and psychological safety, and trauma-informed care. This ongoing training ensures that I provide the highest quality of care and support to my clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy crochet, reading, art, Pilates, and walking my dog. These activities help me stay balanced and bring joy to my life.

Looking ahead, my goal is to support people in ways that best suit their needs—whether through kinesiology, mentoring, mental health peer work, or disability support. I offer these services both privately and in collaboration with organisations and am open to opportunities in both settings.
